Mary Catherine Studio was founded when my love for creating bespoke artwork and background in pointed-pen calligraphy met my obsession with entertaining and, of course, beautiful design. Since opening the Studio, we’ve sent out tens of thousands of invitations and announcements on behalf of happy hostesses, blushing brides, and more. We love to party, and we can’t wait to hear how we can elevate your next celebration!
Whether we’re creating a wedding suite, perfect party invitations, or sweet social stationery, the Studio is where we connect with clients, share ideas, spark creativity, and make paper pretty. Basically, it’s where the magic happens, and you’re always invited!
Meet Mary Catherine
I’m a paper lover turned fine art stationer, watercolor artist, and calligrapher, based in Lafayette, Louisiana. I met my husband Brandon when we were just out of college and both working as CPAs (yes, you read that right!). Since leaving the corporate accounting world in 2018, my days are filled with the most beautiful colors and patterns, paint brushes, paper stocks, silk ribbons, bottles of bubbly, and an antique shopping detour here and there. That’s not to mention my sassy studio assistant @misscalliedoodle, and working with the sweetest couples, hostesses, clients, and friends in the world. What more could a girl ask for?!
I pull inspiration for my artwork from all of my favorite things -- fabulous destinations, beautiful interiors, feminine fashion, and classic, southern style, but my favorite sources of inspiration are my sweet clients and their special stories. It’s such a privilege to celebrate the happiest moments in life along with you, and I can’t wait for the next party!
Meet Callie
Callie is a petite F1B goldendoodle and our beloved studio pup. Her interests include neighborhood strolls, naps in the sun, treats, and making cameos on the @marycatherinestudio_ instagram feed.
